Wooden panels in the Hecla Oasis Resort lobby

Wooden panels by Adrian Schimnowski © Craig Fast

The first thing guests see when they enter the Radisson Hecla Oasis Resort are three beautifully carved panels by local artist Adrian Schimnowski. The panels draw on Icelandic folklore. Panel one stands for birth and creation, the second panel, love, and the third is the end of the world; together they represent balance.
