Lighthouse at Gull Harbour

Gull Harbour lighthouse, Hecla Island © Craig Fast

A short path heading northeast from Hecla Oasis Resort took us to this lighthouse, on the end of a narrow spit of land. To the east the waters of Lake Winnipeg were choppier and exposed; to the west was Gull Harbour, calm and mirror-like. American white pelicans bobbed on the water nearby.
